• 12+ years of overall experience
• 3+ years of experience in people management is must
• Strong understanding of Oracle and MsSql server concepts and administration
• Must have worked in a production environment and lead a group
• Proficiency with Oracle/Sql server databases including Grid computing,
• RAC (real application clusters), Oracle Dataguard, OEM (Oracle enterprise manager),
• Replication, RMAN, Performance tuning, OS Clustering, Mission critical production
• support experience, Knowledge of EMC technologies such as SRDF, BCV cloning etc.
• Preferable knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 including Clustering, LogShipping,
• Replication, Backup / Recovery, Performance Monitoring and Performance Tuning

• Oracle Applications R12, 11i, 11.0.x (implementations, upgrades, architecture, performance tuning)
• Experience in installing, upgrading Oracle Applications in a multi-tier environment in Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of Oracle Apps cloning methodology, Patching and Maintenance of R12 and 11i, Oracle RAC, Data Gaurd, ASM, OEM, Advance replication



• Knowledge of RDBMS, Sql server 2005/2008, Windows NT/2000/98 administration
• Experience with all of the following (should be expert in at least three) : Database Security, Instance Management, Schema Maintenance, Data Control, Backup ,Disaster planning, Capacity Planning, Clustering and Replication, Performance and Tuning
