Oracle DBA (Location: Bangalore)

• 1-3 years of experience in Oracle server database administration with following skills
• Performing day to day DBA activity for Enterprise applications in oracle 9i, 10g and 11g and participating in 24/7 production support.
• Backup and recovery processes, Space management, and user management
• RAC Experience is a big plus
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of respective server software and related products
• Delivering OFA (Optimal Flexible Architecture) compliant Oracle Software Installation & Database creation
• Proactive monitoring, availability of each database and regular health checks and Apply security patches and RDBMS specific patches
• Experience is Shell scripting is a plus.
• Implementing and performing daily backup (and recovery) using oracle RMAN.
• Monitor performance of applications and respond to any degradation of performance. Identify areas of improvement and supervise and coordinate implementing
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Must be process oriented and demonstrate efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Support 24X7 Production environments – expected to work in shifts
SQL DBA (Location: Bangalore)

• 1-3 years of experience on SQL Server database Administration with the following skills:
• Must be process oriented and demonstrate efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Installing, Configuring and Managing database servers, should have experience in 2005
• High Availability (Log shipping, Replication and Mirroring)
• Administering and Developing SQL Server Databases.
• Managing SQL Server security and logins.
• Capacity planning and monitoring database growth.
• Backup and Restore.
• Monitoring SQL Server Jobs.
• Reviewing SQL Server database objects
• Troubleshooting SQL Server performance issues.
• Index Tuning/ Query Tuning
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Support 24X7 Production environments – expected to work in shifts
Unix (Location: Bangalore)

• 1-3 years of experience with UNIX / LINUX Server Administration.
• UNIX shell scripts, LINUX, LINUX toolsets
• Must be a self-starter and be able to learn and master the client proprietary / industry installations and upgrades and maintenance.
• Must be process oriented and demonstrate efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Support 24X7 Production environments – expected to work in shifts
