We are looking for QA Specialist for our PUNE office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create test plan, test schedule
• Create, write and maintain Test Scripts and Plans based upon a defined Test Strategy.
• Work closely with development team to support data verification, data comparison and logical workflow for several back-end processes.
• Execute manual and automatic tests in the proper test environment for each release.
• Execute ad hoc testing and integration testing
• Ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
• Perform front end and backend testing
• Preparation of test bed [installation and configuration] [linux,sol] for integration testing
• Qualification through log analysis for the production issues
• Maintain core products operations knowledgebase
• Maintain Asia Markets functional knowledgebase
• Responsible for respective test environments
• Involved in the test script, documentation reviews
• Responsible for creating team specific metrics for the higher management

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in handling teams
• A very good exposure to both back-end and front-end testing. Good exposure in testing back-end processing.
• Strong unix skills
• Financial markets knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detailed orientated, excellent problem solver and demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure.
• Exposure to maintain test environments

Desired Skills:

• Basic database skills
• Exposure to automation (QTP)
