B.E. Computer Science or MCA, should have 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing with development exposure

Job Description

Thorough understanding of test methodology, test life cycle, bug life cycle preferably with testing certification (ISTQB or CSTE)
- thorough knowledge on web technologies.

- good knowledge on database testing.

- proficient in any one of programming languages, preferably JAVA or ColdFusion, able to review the code and debug / analyze the problem.

- ability to interpret project specifications, prepare test strategy, test plan and transfer the specifications to good test cases. Able to guide and support the team during execution

- good knowledge in any of the automation tools - preferably QTP

- good communication skills, working experience in testing team of onsite-offshore model

- ability to take on new tasks independently

- good problem solving and diagnostic skills
