Roles & Responsibilities:
Role would be Technical Project Lead
Responsibilities
o Requirements Gathering & Analysis
o Code Review
o Scheduling & Planning
o Deployment / Release management
o Lead/train/mentor developers
Job Specification:
Should be able to understand & analyse the requirements to ensure the completeness
of requirements
Should be able to transform business requirements into well-designed and documented
software components bases on MS Technologies (.Net, SQL)
Should be able to break down tasks into smaller items and schedule them
Should be able to keep a strict control on requirement scopes, ensures that unambiguous requirements are given to the production team
Should be able to identify project risks (technology, resources, 3rd party dependencies,
hardware challenges, etc) quite early in the execution phase, prescribe proper
mitigation plan, ensures that all stake holders are aware of the same. Should also be
able to ensure that mitigation plans are followed when a risk materializes.
Should be able to ensure that the team performs detailed technical design / impact
analysis.
Should be able to do task breakdown & allocation effectively, create & manage project
plans, ensure that the team follows the project plan
Should be able to tracks the project continuously, prepare project status reports &
timesheets and ensure that the status reports & timesheets are sent to the key
stakeholders in a timely manner
Should be able to perform code reviews for performance, scalability, efficiency and
security
Should be able to ensure codes / designs are delivered with high quality conforming to
all the coding guidelines / standards and best practices
Should be able to assure necessary documentation for every project
Should be able to demonstrates ownership, responsibility and accountability of people,
tasks, projects and activities
Educational Qualifications: BE / BTech/MCA with at least 60% aggregate score consistently.
Microsoft certifications are a plus. (Border cases can also be considered)Technical Skill Sets: .NET 3.5 (or later), C#, MS SQL Server 2008 or later, SSRS, SSIS
Knowledge & experience in frameworks like MVC, Entity framework desirable
General Skills:
Should be able to understand & comprehend information
Should have excellent learning & analytical ability
Should be proficient at debugging & problem solving
Should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit
exceptional relationship management skills.
Should be passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best
practices while leading and mentoring a small team of developers.
Experience:
5-9 yrs of IT experience with at least 2-3 yrs in client communication and managing /
leading teams
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic
Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented
architectures (SOA).
Expert level proficiency in .Net 3.5 (or later), C#, ASP.Net, N-Tier application
development, SOA, XML web services
Database experience with MS SQL, DB Architecture/design, SQL Development (PL/SQL)
Web 2.0 technologies, JQuery, Javascript, Ajax
Web application security - user authentication, N-tier architecture, DB/file encryption
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and automated deployment tools such as MSBuild
is preferred
Level of communication: (Fair/Good/Excellent): Excellent Written & Oral Skills (no tolerance
for grammatical mistakes)
